Philosophy of Services

We believe that to be effective at helping children and families we must be one partnership in a system of care that starts with a family and extends into the community.

As a behavioral health partner, we will go wherever services are needed and have found that best practices for behavioral health usually take place in schools, neighborhoods, and in people’s homes.

Our clinicians are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Our outcomes of treatment are seen as the responsibility of the team rather than the responsibility of the client.

This practice is consistent with the core values of Community Connections and has been identified as “evidence based practice” by the President’s New Freedom Commission on Mental Health (2003).

Community Connections does not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, national origin, disability or age in admission, treatment, or participation in its programs, services and activities or in employment.
