Here's what happening on Monday. Free meals!

Thank you to all veterans and active military for your service.

Community Connections offices are closed on Monday, November 11th for Veterans Day, but the rest of the community sure isn’t! Here’s what’s going on in Ketchikan and Prince of Wales:

Ketchikan

Free breakfast at The Landing

Free Breakfast for all Veteran’s & Active Military

  • 6 – 10 a.m.
  • The Landing Restaurant

Free lunch and dinner at Eagles (Creek St)

Free Hotdogs and Chips for ALL Veterans! $5.00 for everyone else. Please come honor our Vets and share a story or 2!

  • 1 p.m. to midnight
  • Eagles at 7 Creek St

Lunch at Holy Name

HNCS K-4 students and staff invite our Veterans to join us for a special Thank You lunch. Please RSVP to your student’s teacher or the school office.

  • 11:30 AM and ends at 12:00 PM
  • Holy Name Catholic School

Prince of Wales

Free breakfast at Prince of Peace church

  • 6:30 – 8:30 a.m.
  • Prince of Peace Church (365 Summit St in Klawock)

Free breakfast. Event Organizer: Gary Lawton 907-965-4967

Annual Appreciation Dinner

  • 6 p.m.
  • Craig Tribal Association Hall

Free for all veterans, family members and guests. Hosted by Klawock Cooperative Association. Each veteran’s family is asked to bring a photo of the veteran to display on their table. Bring a side dish or dessert to share. The KCA will provide main entrees of fish and deer meat. The KCA is accepting donations for veteran gift bags.
