Mandy has lived on Prince of Wales Island for over 10 years. About four years ago, she joined us as a support specialist, working with individuals with developmental disabilities and seniors in Craig and Klawock.
“I love being able to help people, to do something positive,” she says.
She says it can sometimes be challenging to advocate for the people she works with, as certain healthcare can be harder to get on the island.
Tammy Richter, who coordinates all senior and disability services on Prince of Wales, says that Mandy “goes above and beyond for her customers.”
In her free time, Mandy spends time with her family, and baking delicious foods like cheesecake.
