Our residential services are designed to provide the customer with the support needed to be able to live in their community of choice. We offer a variety of options from living in an apartment with a few hours of drop in staff, to living in a neighborhood home with an adult or family, to a staffed supported living facility with individual apartments. We help develop a successful and affordable living arrangement that works for each customer.

How We Can Help
Services occur within the home environment with staff available to help support the customer to maintain and promote their independence. You and your service team will develop goals that will help you or your family member become more independent at home. This might be teaching and helping the customer to do household tasks such as laundry, cooking, cleaning, and maintaining their personal safety. Some customers may require more hands on assistance involving personal care with showering, toileting and dressing. Individuals receiving residential services may also receive community based services, depending on that customer’s goals outlined in their plan of care. We are here to help in whatever way is necessary. Progress towards the goals is continually monitored and goals are adapted when the customer has achieved the goal, when strategies aren’t working or when the customer’s interests have changed.
Our Facilities
We operate two facilities in Ketchikan with 24 hour staffing available. One facility has 8 individual apartments located within a building with a shared common area, laundry room and staff office. Each apartment has its own kitchen, living area, bathroom and bedroom. Two of the units are wheel chair accessible meeting ADA standards with roll in showers, lowered counters, and wider doorways. The other facility has a shared kitchen and common areas with individual bedrooms and bathrooms, providing a family atmosphere. Both facilities offer a safe and friendly environment for the individuals living there.
For customers who live with their parent or guardian respite services can be provided to allow the primary caregiver a break to attend to their own personal needs.
