This month, we’re celebrating Cassie Kloep, a bright and caring DSP who joined Community Connections for the second time in October 2022 and has been lifting up everyone around her ever since. Cassie grew up with deep ties to Community Connections, and returning to this field has felt like coming home. She loves helping others learn, grow, gain confidence, and she treasures the chance to meet people from all walks of life. Her kindness, patience, and genuine interest in others shines through in everything she does. her supervisor had this to say about her, “Cassie provides outstanding services to each of her elders. Her customers always sing her praises. She is diligent in finding resources for her customers to help them be able to stay in their homes and she strives for good communication amongst her fellow support staff to ensure that shared customers’ needs are met. Her smile brightens up the office every time she comes through. It has been a joy to work with her for the last few years.”  Balancing work and life can be challenging, but Cassie faces it with honesty and strength, always striving to show up as her best self for the people she supports. Outside of work, Cassie recharges by gardening, caring for her family and animals, and cooking meals together. These simple joys keep her grounded. Cassie grew up in both Anchorage and Ketchikan, and we’re grateful she’s chosen to share her heart and talents with our community.
