Our Stellar Staff for July 2024 is Victoria Gould! Victoria has brought professionalism, cheer and sheer get-up-and-go to the CMH team, according to her supervisor, Tandra. Her smile and laugh are utterly contagious, and she has earned respect and trust with her ability to recognize the unique strengths of each individual person on our team and her willingness to help wherever she is needed. Her passion for the children and families we serve is remarkable, we are so happy to have her on the team!

Victoria moved to Ketchikan about a year ago, noting that she has been visiting Ketchikan for the last 25 years, while raising her kids in Connecticut. She and her family have a cabin near Yes Bay. When the decision was made to move to Ketchikan full time, she came upon a flyer for a Child & Family Therapist position with us! She was soon speaking to Tandra and says the enthusiasm, commitment and vision Tandra exuded for CMH sold her and she applied.

The part of her job she enjoys the most is working with such a tremendously committed group of colleagues and says it is very fulfilling to work alongside the CMH team as we make a difference in the lives of our kids & families. Her biggest challenge she faces in her position is slowing down and realizing that not everything can happen at once. When not working, Victoria loves to play word board games with her young adult children – they are all very competitive. She also enjoys hiking and fishing.
