Rob loves helping others.
In fact, helping people is so integral to his life that even outside of his job at Community Connections, he goes and helps others in the community. He is part of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Ketchikan – their motto is “People Helping People”. It could double as his own life motto.
For the last 19+ years, Rob has worked with folks in the Ketchikan teen home, Gateway, and the state detention facility. Now, Rob supports individuals with disabilities in their homes and out in the community.
“I like seeing the success [of clients], finding solutions, when I’m able to facilitate improvement and see people achieving their goals.”
Rob has been with Community Connections for more than 3 years now.
Rob is a combat veteran, and part of the VFW in town. When he can, he also goes camping and hunting.
Keep up the great work Rob! We’re grateful to have you on our team.
We feature staff as part of our monthly Stellar Staff Spotlight. The spotlight rotates between programs (Children’s Mental Health, Early Learning, and Senior & Disability Services), and between Ketchikan and Prince of Wales, with a focus on recognizing direct service staff.
