Self-Advocacy Summit with Peer Power

Want to learn how to advocate for yourself? How to share your story?

The Governor’s Council on Disabilities and Special Education is holding a self-advocacy workshop/summit this September. Several of our customers have gone to past self-advocacy events like this one.

Why: learn how to advocate for yourself and work on issues like employment, self-advocate mentoring, funding resources, and raising disability awareness throughout the community

Who: individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, and their families

When: September 27-29, 2019 (Friday – Sunday)

Where: Anchorage, AK
