11 yeas later, Dani still loves coming in to work every day!

She is proud of what we do for our communities and feels fortunate to be a part of it! She says her job is more behind the scenes but takes pride in what she does for the agency in support of our mission. Her job entails things she enjoys and thrives on, like problem solving, recordkeeping, audits, excel, numbers and collaboration. She loves being part of an in-sync team that is just as dedicated as she is – her team is like family to her; they depend on each other professionally and personally. Dani says she has grown so much since working here, partly due to the agecny’s mission but also because of her coworkders, who she feels lucky enough to be able to call her friends.

Outside of work? Dani loves to take care of her family, try new things with them, cook, play card games and just be silly! She loves a good cup of coffee, fuzzy blankets and a good crime series after the kids go to bed.

She is working on her Associates Degree in Accounting and is so thankful for the agency scholarship program she has been able to benefit from.
Through the scholarship program, Dani received her Accounting Technician Certificate!

According to her supervisor, Dani plays an integral role for Finance and the agency as a whole. In addition to the bi-weekly payroll, Dani handles all of the related payments and audits for employee benefits and reconciliation for all things payroll for the year-end agency audit. Dani continues to grow in her role of financial reporting, budgeting and auditing for Opportunity House.

Meet Coach Dani!
Dani volunteered this winter to coach her son’s youth basketball team!
It brought back memories of the good ol’ days and it was fun working with kinders and first graders – she says her inner child was so happy and she plans to continue doing it!
