Cathy Bolling is our Stellar Staff for October! She works with elders, in their homes and out in the community on Prince of Wales Island.

“Some elders are left on their own without family around them,” she says. “I wanted in my own little way to make sure that didn’t happen.”

Cathy started at Community Connections almost six years ago, as she was looking for a way to get back in touch with the elders in our community.

“I love laughing with them. They’re a big part of my day,” she says. “They care for me at least as much as I care for them.”

In her free time, Cathy spends time reading and playing one of her many instruments: piano, accordion, or spoons.
